The People’s Conversation

Come celebrate civic engagement, arts, and culture in New York City!

Join NYC Speaks, the NYC Civic Engagement Commission, The People’s Bus, and The Clemente to celebrate New Yorkers building up their city together. We’ll begin with NYC Speaks Community Conversations. Arts and civic engagement leaders will facilitate dialogue between New Yorkers about how our city can take both of these issues further. Next, don’t miss the announcements about recent wins in participatory government from key civic leaders. Last but not least, we’ll end with performances from a live local salsa band and poets (on National Poem in Your Pocket Day, no less). And of course, there will be other civic engagement actions to take part in right on site!
