NEW YORK — In just a few weeks, Eric Adams will be sworn in as the next mayor of New York City and bring his own agenda and policy priorities to the job.

But a group called NYC Speaks is hoping to inform that vision with the voices of everyday people. The organization will seek to deliver community feedback directly to the administration during the critical first few months. Through community discussions and surveys, it hopes to amplify the voices of New Yorkers too often excluded from the policy making process.

Shango Blake, the executive director of NYC Speaks, joined NY1's Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” on Wednesday evening to talk more about the campaign.
